It explains why harmonizing FDTA with SBR principles is essential to avoid duplicative systems and rising compliance costs, and how agencies, filers, and technology partners can act now to design for interoperability. The paper offers actionable steps—grounded in current policy and informed by global SBR experience—for mapping data to common vocabularies, validating at the source, and generating machine-readable submissions that can be reused across obligations.
